Stratum is a server runtime for Vintage Story multiplayer. It runs in place of the stock dedicated server and adds performance work, server hardening, staff and player commands, chat and presentation options, and reports for owners.

Players do not install anything. You run Stratum for the Vintage Story version your server is on, and people connect with a normal client.

If this is your first time, read Installation, then run the server once so it can prepare the matching vanilla files. First launch covers what to expect on that first run.

Stratum releases are available for Windows x64, Linux x64, and Linux ARM64. The launcher does not support macOS.
